Synopsis

Horus “el elevado”, dios celeste y dios sanador en la mitología egipcia. Se le consideró iniciador de la civilización egipcia.

Se le asoció al dios Ra como Ra-Horajti.
Mitología: Horus ayudado por los Shemsu Hor luchó contra Seth para recuperar el trono de su padre, Osiris, asesinado por Seth. Seth quedó como el dios del Alto Egipcio y Horus del Bajo Egipto. Posteriormente Horus fue dios de todo Egipto, mientras que Seth era dios del desierto y de los pueblos extranjeros. Representa la lucha entre la fertilidad del valle del Nilo (Osiris) y la aridez del desierto (Seth). Más adelante dejó el gobierno a los reyes míticos, denominados. Además es el protector de Osiris en el inframundo egipcio, el Duat.

“Horus es un sabio que supera a los seres que ha reunido su padre; horus es un protector, horus es un padre, horus es un amigo. Horus se ha convertido en vasallo de su propio padre en estado de corrupción. Ha llegado a gobernar egipto, y los dioses trabajan para él. Es fuente de vida para multitudes, hace vivir a multitudes por medio de su ojo, el único de su señor, el señor del universo”.

“Horus”  ha sido compuesta  para las publicaciones que realiza el Conservatorio Superior de Música “Salvador Seguí” de Castellón, 2007.

Horus – the high one – the celestial and healing god of Egyptian mythology is considered the originator of Egyptian civilization. He was associated with the god Ra as Ra-Horajti.

Mythodology: Horus, helped by the Shemsu Hor, fought against Seth to recover the throne of this father, Osiris, who was murdered by Seth. Seth stayed as the god of Upper Egypt and Horus of Lower Egypt. Afterwards, Horus was the god of all of Egypt while Seth was the god of the desert and the foreigners. This represents the battle between the fertility of the Nile valley (Osiris) and the aridness of the desert (Seth). Later, he left the government to the mythical kings. In addition, he is the protector of Osiris in the Egyptian underworld, Duat.

“Horus is the wise one that overcomes the beings that have reunited his father; Horus is a protector; Horus is a father; Horus is a friend. Horus has been converted into a vassal of his own father in a state of corruption. He has become the ruler of Egypt and the gods work for him. He is the source of life for multitudes. He makes the multitudes live through his eye, the only of his lord, the lord of the universe (The Book of the Dead, Chapter 78, Anonymous).”
