Echo de la Montagne
SINFONIETTA N. 1
1º Premio en el “I Concurso Nacional de Composición Musical ‘Francisco Grau’”, celebrado en Bigastro (Alicante) en el año 2004.
La grandeza de las Montañas hace que el universo tenga un espacio natural invencible, bello y poderoso.
Sinfonietta en Tres Movimientos:
I.- La Legende.
II.- La Belle Nature.
III.- La Fôret Fantastique.
La leyenda dice que existía una montaña muy extraña y encantadora a su vez, dominaba el paisaje con sus laderas que subían verdes y boscosas hasta una zona donde las rocas interrumpían bruscamente la vegetación trazando extraños dibujos. Mas arriba, la cumbre cubierta de hielo brillaba con los diferentes colores que le daba el sol. A veces – nadie podía prever cuando- la montaña se transformaba: la nieve se fundía, lanzaba humo y fuego hacia el cielo, calcinaba bosques y bombardeaba a los Mapuches con rocas incandescentes que parecían las tokikuras de Dios. Allí habitaban dos tribus que continuamente estaban enfrentados, destrozando el entorno con sus guerras.
Dios dispuso que los dos jefes de ambas tribus se sentaran frente a frente, para que contemplaran juntos el horror, provocado por la osadía de llevar la guerra a su montaña. Para que el castigo fuera eterno los convirtió en piedra; y desde ese entonces fueron cubiertos muchas veces por la lava ardiente o el hielo, condenados a escuchar el tronar intermitente. Se dice que los dos caciques esperan en vano el día en que Dios se duerma y puedan despertar ellos para vengar a sus pueblos.
Contrastando lo anterior llega la bella naturaleza, esplendorosa de color y aroma y el mundo fantástico que habitan las montañas o bosques, los pequeños personajes, gnomos, elfos, etc., que revolotean y que hacen travesuras por el esplendor verde de las montañas.
Esta Obra es encargo y está compuesta para conmemorar el 125 Aniversario de “The Koninklijke Harmonie de Berggalm”, Klimmen. A la Banda que lleva como sobrenombre “ECHO DE LA MONTAGNE”

The greatness of the Mountains does that the universe have a powerful beautiful, invincible, and natural space.
Sinfonietta in Three Movements:
I.- La Legende.
II.- La Belle Nature.
III.- La Fôret Fantastique.
The legend says that existed a charming and very strange mountain at the same time, dominated the landscape with their slopes that rose green and wooded to a zone where the rocks interrupted abruptly the vegetation drawing strange drawings. But up, the summit covered with ice shone with the different colors that the sun gave it. At times – could nobody predict when- the mountain was transformed: the snow melted, launched smoke and fire toward the sky, burned forests and bombarded to the Mapuches with incandescent rocks that they seemed the tokikuras of God.
There they inhabited two tribes that continuously were faced, destroying the environment with their wars.
God directed that the two leaders of both tribes sat down face to face, so that they contemplated together the horror, caused by the boldness to carry the war to their mountain. So that the punishment was eternal became stone them; and since that then went covers many times by the ardent lava or the ice, condemned to listen the tronar intermittent. It is said that the two caciques expect in vain the day in which God sleep and they can awake they to avenge to their towns.
Contrasting the previous thing it arrives the beautiful nature, magnificent of color and fragrance and the fantastic world that inhabit the mountains or forests, the small personages, gnomes, elfs, etc., that fly around and that do travesuras by the green splendor of the mountains.
This Work is assignment and is composed to commemorate the 125 Anniversary of “The Koninklijke Harmonie de Berggalm”, Klimmen. To the Band that carries like nickname “ECHO DE LA MONTAGNE”
