Trumpetix & Trombelix
Concert for Trumpet, Trombone and Wind Orchestra
Dos personajes. Uno toca la trompeta y el otro el trombón. Van a hacer un concierto divertido. El concierto consiste en tocar obras típicas de un instrumento interpretado por el otro instrumento. ¿Quién lo hará mejor?…
La historia de la música nos ha dejado obras sublimes para trompeta escritas por Haydn, Hummel, entre otros que serán interpretadas por el trombonista, y del mismo modo, obras escritas para trombón por David, Rota o Korsakov, entre otros, las combatirá el trompetista. ¿Quién vencerá a quién?…
…Y todo ello interpretado por dos personajes, que aún queriendo ser rivales, siempre terminan más que amigos, porque ambos se necesitan y son necesarios para sus vidas. Estos personajes son: “Trumpetix y Trombelix”.
Two characters. One plays the trumpet and the other the trombone. They are going to perform an entertaining concert. The concert consists of playing typical works of one instrument interpreted by another. Who will do it best?
The history of music has left us sublime works for the trumpet written by Haydn, Hummel, among others that will interpreted by the trombonist. Likewise, works written for the trombone by David, Rota, Korsakov, among others will be used for battle by the trumpet player. Who will defeat who?
…and all will be interpreted by two characters who, despite wanting to be rivals, always finish more like friends because both need one another and are necessary for their own lives. These characters are “Trumpetix and Trombelix.”
