�The Neverending Dream� est� inspirado en la novela fant�stica del escritor alem�n Michael Ende publicada en 1979, �Die Unendliche Geschichte� o en ingl�s �The Neverending Story�, siendo esta un verdadero �xito desde su inicio, siendo traducida a m�s de 36 idiomas.

La novela siempre fue defendida por su autor como una novela que se extiende m�s all� de la mera narraci�n para convertirse en una cr�tica, argumentando que el libro expresa el deseo de encontrar la realidad que nos rodea a trav�s de recorrer el camino inverso, es decir, la parte interna de cada uno que reside en su imaginaci�n.

Michael Ende en sus propias palabras en una entrevista para �El Pa�s� dijo: �Cuando nos fijamos un objetivo, el mejor medio para alcanzarlo es tomar siempre el camino opuesto. (�) Para encontrar la realidad hay que hacer lo mismo: darle la espalda y pasar por lo fant�stico. �se es el recorrido que lleva a cabo el h�roe de �La historia interminable�. Para descubrirse, a s� mismo, Basti�n debe primero abandonar el mundo real (donde nada tiene sentido) y penetrar en el pa�s de lo fant�stico, en el que, por el contrario, todo est� cargado de significado. Sin embargo, hay siempre un riesgo cuando se realiza tal periplo; entre la realidad y lo fant�stico existe, en efecto, un sutil equilibrio que no debe perturbarse: separado de lo real, lo fant�stico pierde tambi�n su contenido. (�)

Esta historia m�gica, ese mundo fant�stico, el reino de Fantas�a y el mundo real, los personajes que envuelven esta novela maravillosa y esa reconstrucci�n a partir de su imaginaci�n para encontrar la realidad, es la trama de esta composici�n titulada �El Sue�o sin Fin”.

Encargo de “Les Amis de la Musique Militaire� a.s.b.l. para conmemorar el 175 Aniversario de�”La Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg”. (1842 – 2017).

�…, al maestro, el Oficial Mayor Jean-Claude Braun por su extraordinaria labor por�la evoluci�n del repertorio sinf�nico para Banda,�y a todos los m�sicos pertenecientes a la Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg.

�Esta composici�n se estren� el d�a 25 de Marzo de 2017, en Luxemburgo�por �La Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg�, dirigiendo su titular el Oficial Mayor Jean-Claude Braun.

�”The Neverending Dream” is inspired by the fantastic novel by the German writer Michael Ende published in 1979, “Die Unendliche Geschichte” or “The Neverending Story”, being a true success from its beginning, being translated into more than 36 languages .

�The novel was always defended by its author as a novel that extends beyond the mere narrative to become a critic, arguing that the book expresses the desire to find the reality that surrounds us through going the opposite way, that is to say , the inner part of each residing in its imagination.

�Michael Ende in his own words in an interview for “The Country” said: “When we set a goal, the best way to achieve it is to always take the opposite way. (…) To find reality it is necessary to do the same thing: give him the back and go through the fantastic. That is the journey that the hero of “The Neverending Story” performs. To discover himself, Bastian must first leave the real world (where nothing makes sense) and penetrate the country of the fantastic, in which, on the contrary, everything has a meaning. However, there is always a risk when performing such a journey; between reality and the fantastic there is, in effect, a subtle balance that must not be disturbed: separated from the real, the fantastic also loses its content. (…).

�This magical story, that fantastic world, the kingdom of Fantasy and the real world, the characters that wrap this wonderful novel and that reconstruction from its imagination to find reality, is the plot of this composition titled “The Neverending Dream�.�

Commissioned�from “Les Amis de la Musique Militaire� a.s.b.l. to commemorate 175th Anniversary of�”La Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg”. (1842 – 2017).

�.…, the conductor, the Officer Major Jean-Claude Braun for its extraordinary work for the evolution of the symphonic repertoire for Band�and to all the musicians belonging to the �Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg�.

This composition was premiered on March 25th, 2017 in Luxembourg by��La Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale Luxembourg�, conducting by its holder the Officer Major Jean-Claude Braun.
